Avalanche warning services of the Pyrenees, Argentine ski resorts, Chilean Tagbauminen and the weather service of Bhutan - they all use MetGIS. The high-precision mountain weather forecasting system was co-developed by meteorologists at the University of Vienna and is now freely accessible to all those interested.
