Prof. Grubisic appointed as Director of NCAR's Earth Observation Lab

On July 1st, our Professor for Dynamic Meteorology, Vanda Grubisic, will take office as director of the renowned Earth Observation Laboratory at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, Boulder, CO, (see article in the UCAR Magazine ). We wish her all the best for this challenging task, where she certainly will try to provide research opportunities also for our most mobile and best students.

She will remain chair of Dynamic Meteorology in Vienna, but she will be at NCAR most of the time. The position of a deputy in Vienna for the next three years will be advertised within the next few days.
