Lecture in Mesoscale Dynamics with Prof. Branko Grisogono from Zagreb

Prof. Branko Grisogono (Department of Geophysics, University of Zagreb) will be a guest of IMGW and teach a block course in Mesoscale Dynamics between Februrary 2nd and Februrary 14th 2012.

The preliminary schedule of the lecture is as follows:
02.02 to 03.02: 10-12h and 14-17h
06.02 to 10.02: 10-12h and 14-16h
13.02 to 14.02: 10-12h and 13-16h
Lectures will be held in the Felix-Exner-Hörsaal (2F513).
Prof. Grisogono's scientific expertise lies in the areas of boundary-layer meteorology, internal gravity waves, coastal and mountain meteorology. A strong focus of his research is on the dynamics of bora, a strong downslope wind that blows along the Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea.
