An interdisciplinary group of researchers, interested in the problems of the lithosphere-asthenosphere boundary depth estimates, and on how to get a better “handle” on the quality and errors of the observations, contributed providing oral presentations either as reviews or as case studies. A particular interest has been devoted to the active involvement of the new generation of scientists in contributing to the deep understanding of the problem.
