KinderuniWien - Mittendrin im Wetterlabor

30.07.2021

As every year the University of Vienna opened for children in the age of 7 to 12, referred to as KinderUni.

This year a motivated team from our department took the challenge and explained a bit about climate and weather. A success already. The children were eager to learn more and asked detailed questions. Not just then was our fantastic teaching material a clear advantage. Thankfully created by the great talent of some. Whether a self-made barometer, a cloud in a bottle or a helium balloon the children had fun and kept our team busy with all the questions. With nearly all experiments successful, the children even took the great challenge of completing a prediction on Where the balloon is going to be found? Clearly, a remarkable event. Thanks to all. We are looking forward to next year. Have a great summer!
