In the week from 23-27 July 2023 the Alpine-meterological and Aerosol-physical excursion to the three most famous mountain observatories in the Alps took place.

Eleven students of Meteorology and Aerosolphysics plus two advisors visited the observatories at Sonnblick (3106 m), Jungfraujoch (3454 m) and Zugspitze (Schneefernerhaus, 2656 m). During guided tours we received lots of information about history, scientific focal points and running projects. Finally we got an impression of observers life at the respective observatories.

During a preparatory seminar the students collected and presented available information about the observatories including specific instruments installed there.
